Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Can I buy a ticket on behalf of a friend?
A: Nope. You can only buy one ticket in your name. These tickets are non-transferable.
Q: What payment options are available to buy ticket?
A: You can only buy the ticket via CashNet through credit or debit. No cash, Bear Bucks, and alternative payment options (i.e., Venmo) will be taken.
Q: Is there any way to buy a partial Senior Trip ticket? (i.e., only for the Sunday night cruise?)
A: Nope. The ticket is all-inclusive and can not be split up due to compliance with university rules. We understand some students will already be present in Chicago during the trip for personal visits or other commitments. We are currently exploring options to participate in the Senior Trip but no decisions have been made yet. Please send us an email if this situation applies to you ASAP.
Q: What is this waiver for?
A: This waiver is a statement of personal responsibility and release regarding participation in the Senior Trip. By signing this document, you assume all risk and responsibility for any negative incidents of your personal doing on the trip.
Q: What if I only preference one or two other students for my room? Does this mean I get paired with random roommate(s)?
A: Maybe. If we sell out tickets, we will be putting together rooms of 4. Try to plan ahead and have three other students you’d preference for roommates. We will have a prompt in the form to requests for personal or disability-related accommodations.
Q: How will refunds work?
A: You will only be allowed to request a refund on your ticket up to three days after purchase.
Q: What if I, or a friend, can not make it to the scheduled ticket tablings due to prior commitments?
A: Tickets will be open for purchase online. Please send an email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to facilitate the completion of the signed waiver if you cannot make the times. You must have completed all three items to attend the trip.
Q: I started out in the Class of 2018 but had chosen to graduate in May 2017. Can I still participate in Senior Trip?
A: Unfortunately, no. Only seniors intent on graduating at the end of semesters Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 may purchase tickets for the trip.
