Dear New Graduates of Washington University,

Our final year was the best one yet. This website served as a guide to all of the opportunities available for our senior year as it culminated in the commencement ceremony in May.

It has been our honor and privilege to serve as your class representatives, and we have been thrilled about what was in store.

Senior Week

THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN SENIOR WEEK!

The schedule and times for Senior Week is finally here! Senior Class Council has worked hard to make this a memorable week of events to celebrate the end of our time here at WashU.

This year, the Senior Week package was for sale at $110 (this is a record $40 savings from last year’s ticket price). Get this limited special price while it’s hot!

Normal registration began on March  5, at 12 p.m. and closed on April 9. Both the package and individual events were available for purchase à la carte at non-discounted rates. 

Senior Week contributes to the Class of 2018 Gift is a scholarship fund that is allocated to incoming students of the following year’s first year class.  A commemorative glass designed by members of the Sam Fox Class of 2018 will be given to all of the students who contribute! 

Thursday, May 10th

Senior Gift Celebration 

4 :00  PM, Tisch Commons

This Happy Hour event allows us to kick off Senior Week by releasing the total amount raised for the Senior Gift! Food and beverages provided.  You can pick up the #WashUGlassOf2018 at this event.  

Friday, May 11th

Senior BBQ

11:00 AM, DUC Courtyard

Come kick back with your friends and enjoy a barbecue lunch! We are putting together a menu of WashU’s greatest hits over the last few years.

Seniors in Soulard

9:00 PM, Buses from Alumni Lot

 This is a perfect chance to explore the nightlife and culture of Soulard, one of the most vibrant neighborhoods of St. Louis! Transportation will be provided. 

Saturday, May 12th

Saturday in the Park

This is a Senior Stakeout in Forest Park. Bring a frisbee, a picnic lunch, and make the most of Forest Park before we graduate. A photographer will be attending so you can get that good Instagram.

The St. Louis Art Museum and St. Louis History Museum will be offering free tours to seniors. We are currently working on picnic packs for pickup at the Art Museum — stay tuned!

This event is free for all  to attend if you register for Senior Week. 

Monday, May 14th

Chancellor’s Dinner & Senior Gala

4:30 to 5:30, Coach Buses, Pickup Location TBD

You are invited to a dinner with the Chancellor, where we will be celebrating the talented members and scholars of our class at the Marriott Grand. Afterward, we will celebrate the night together at the Senior Gala at Windows on Washington.

Tuesday, May 15th

Senior Soirée at Botanical Gardens

6:00 PM, Buses from Alumni Lot

Our penultimate event at the Botanical Gardens is one you cannot miss. The flowers will be in full bloom. Tasty hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, and live music!

*Semi-formal summer attire encouraged*

Wednesday, May 16th

Brewery Tour & Dinner

5:00 PM, Buses from Alumni Lot

The historic Anheuser Busch Brewery is a bucket-list item for anyone visiting St. Louis. Tour the facilities, enjoy a dinner with your class, and get excited for a photo opportunity with the iconic Clydesdales at our final event!

NOTE: If you are planning to participate in the Latinx or BSA celebrations on Wednesday, May 16th, you will be able to attend it and the Anheuser Busch event for Senior Week! We will be having extra buses between 6:30 and 7:30 pm before and after the respective ceremonies to accommodate you.

Thursday, May 17th

Seniors Night at the Cardinals

6:00 PM, Busch Stadium

This is our BONUS event for Senior Week!

This evening home game, at 6 p.m., is on the day before commencement. Take this opportunity to spectate a world-class baseball team in the iconic Busch Stadium.

Tickets for this bonus event will be available for separate purchase at $13.68 per ticket (v.s. $45.00 at full retail price). These tickets are reserved for premium first-level box seats that are normally priced for retail at $45.00.

Tickets can be picked up with your Senior Week packet!
